| The Focolare In approximately 1968, the Congregation of Sister-Servants of Christ the King read an article in the "Living City" magazine which spoke of the Focolare Movement founded by Chiara Lubick. An invitation to all religious orders was extended in the article, so several of the Sisters went to the conference and from that time until the present, the Sister-Servants of Christ the King has been in fellowship with the Focolare Movement. The Sisters have received great support from this movement, not only for themselves but for their ministries as well. The visits of the Sisters to the Focolare have always been a great encouragement. World views have been broadened and friendships strengthened. In servanthood to God, it is always wonderful to share our experiences of service to the Lord. |
